Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
